The Importance of Confidence
In the black community, we have this thing called job interview voice. Some people just innately born with this ability to believe that they can overcome any situation at any time and they will be this thing. Yet you have others that are lacking that confidence or suffering from imposter syndrome. Confidence is a skill. It's a trainable skill. And early life does shape an abundance of confidence or abundance of self doubtor an abundance of self criticalness. So if your parents did some stuff early on, that really helps you believe that you are special. But too much of a specialness can create mental illness as well.
