i like this idea of dipping your toe in, because if you've got a broken wing emotionally, you don't want to throw yourself into a meed up maybe that day. And so sometimes in that case, a language learning meed up might be too difficult. But a dance class, where there's some people that may speak other languages, and you can get to know them, is ok. So i think also, i'm introverted, but i'm a gregarious introvert, so i don't have a problem interrupting th conversations of ferful speaking in other languages that i can speak.
