What Is Your Thought Process for Turning Down Google?
Sally Kohn: There's both a conscious and an unconscious sort of career journey that you have. So for example, you first turned down Google for a role that wouldn't quite be right. But then when you got the role that that was a really good fit, it turned into this thing that you probably couldn't have expected when you were going in. She says there are certain decisions that we have autonomy over that we can make that influence what we do. And there are other things where they just sort of line up based on the work that we're currently doing.
