The Next Level Up Is Machine Programming
Next level up are logic gates. These perform logical operations using a combination of transistors and wires. The next level up is machine instructions, or machine code. At the very highest level we have applications like micresoff word or internet browses which are programmed in high level languages. And ultimately, a high level language only to compiled down into assembly language so that it can be executed on the functional units of the hardware.
