The Affective Domain

Sally Kohn: Most of your learning objectives focus on the knowledge and the skill. Do you do anything with sort of that affective domain? Well, some of the skills are things like developing and growth mindset. I wasn't sure how you were defining skill. So this is helpful. There's a motivational and an emotional component to those skills. They're related. Often the emotion is part of the motivation behind them. But I don't think you can separate the emotion, motivation and the knowledge pieces so easily. If you really want the students to take in what you're teaching and be able to absorb it and use it. Right.
