Praying for God's Blessings on Future Generations

You have approximately 6500 days with your child from birth until it is time to release them into the world. How do you biblically prepare your children for the days ahead? The goal is to keep your children behind walls of protection in the early years and then gradually open the gates in the latter years. Biblically prepare your children for the days ahead—begin opening the gates—using these 4 principles... Give them a sense of identity. Help them begin answering the question, “Who am I?” Give them a sense of mission eternally. Teach them biblical theology and help them discover an eternal life mission. Prepare them for life practically. Teach them how to pursue the opposite sex in a healthy way, how to keep their sexual purity, how to handle money, how to prepare for a career that fits their natural abilities, etc. Give them the family blessing. Psalm 128:1, “Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.” Like an aging olive tree, when you biblically prepare your children, your life will live on into the next generation. You will have a family tree spiritually that will make a difference, not only for time but also for eternity!
