In the 19 nineties, researchers in japan were able to start imaging the heart during heart failure. There was no sign of an arterial blockage, which is kind of the standard cause of a heart attack. Instead, these people were experiencing this weird distension of the left ventrical quadrant of the hart. So it's the stress hor mones like adrenelin landing on receptors in the heart and causing it to just literally bloon outLike that and sort of freak out.
