Some evangelical type groups are sending out what appears to be hand written letters to individuals, saying that they're praying for you. The initial reaction of getting a hand written letter is you're a little more invested, and you're going to read it and pay a little closer attention. It's happy in a lot of places because people get so much spa from the mail.
