The Ominous Moment of 2045
In 2045 the computer would be smarter than every human being on the planet. That's kind of the moment we're feeling right now. Because it's a, it's a Moore's Law quality, the doubling of things. And so my favorite example is this example from an old British riddle. The pond is completely filled with lily pads. On what day was it half full of lily pads? If you use linear thinking for this question, the answer is obvious.
