The Economics of Agencies
The whole point of an agency is they've got a bench of people. They all charge for their time by the hour, and they need to be occupied. If they sat down there waiting to do stuff, they're leaking money. It's costing an awful lot of, you know, pennies. So when their sales guys go out and meet their clients, who are in themselves often naive, because they're not, we've just mentioned already, they want the sell. And in that little exchange that you instantly lose the guarantee that you're going to get what the client really needs. You're going toget what the agency needs, income, and people on projects to go forward.
