Gnosticism is the antithesis of nostisism in many ways, except that it might articulate a pretty well gnostic theology from the other end. The god who created this world not the true god, but a dumb, cruel, feeble wanabe god called yaldebaoth or sometimes known as the demiurge rit and in some schools of gnosticism, also called the craftsman.
