Exodus Out of Egypt

Nephi quotes in 1 Nephi 20 verses 20 and 21, a remnant of Jehovah's people exits Babylon. Go forth out of Babylon, flee from Chaldea. Now Babylon is defined in the book of Isaiah as the world at large that gets destroyed in the end time. It was an anodolatous culture and nation, read its influence over the ancient world. This is the type for the model or example that we have that Isaiah uses, the book of Revelation uses it as well.
