Almost Like Having Your Car in Neutral
The crew declared a mayday, and they were cleared down to three thousand feet. A few minutes later, while on their base leg, the crew moved the thrust levers again but there was no direct e from the engines. Eventually, the number one engine increased to about 74 % an one, while the number two engine remained at idle. Almost inlike, i would say, it's almost akin to having your car in neutral. It's not quite the sike yer. And of course, in car, the engine will rave, but you're not moving.
