The US and Saudi Arabia's Relationships
Saudis have had outsides influence relative to their geo-strategic power in US power and the US economy. Saudi was also the swing producer within OPEC, if OPEC, which is the cartel that seeks to maintain oil prices at a sustainably high level. Now we have the Saudis also making nice with Assad and things are shifting very swiftly against the Americans. It's very strange to me, but it's something I hope that at least multipolarity listeners can understand a little bit more.
