The Importance of Persuasion
For me, it's the end is glorifying Christ with our words and actions. So yes, I want to be persuasive because I want somebody to meet Christ. But also I'm speaking on in front of God as I speak. And so I need to do justice to the message I'm proclaiming. Even if that means pronouncing word of judgment, even if that means experiencing rejection.
