The Inner Platform Effect in Relational Data Base Systems

This is called the inner platform effect. And i was weird, initially, a system so customisable as to become a poor replica of the soft ware development platform. Another one that was pretty interesting was overly generic schemes. I think about how many applications were built that were basically just admen and salesforce in their own right. So by the time you get around to lettiming them like excelsior or excelbox then it can be a negative. It's arguable that maybe you shouldn't eavened down that path at all.
