The Future of Wallerstein Studies
With the release of Wallerstein 2.0 what are you sort of hoping for or excited for the future of Waller Stein studies? I would hope that there is more interest in those topics again since we are living in a global world no matter how strong nationalisms or populist nationalisms currently are. So it makes sense to look at the world system as such and how we could probably reform it before it causes more revolutions in the near future. To avoid those revolutions we would need a reform of the existing world system. If that is possible by anti-capitalist measures I'm skeptical but there are possibilities, says professor.
