Introduction
The European Parliament voted for the first time on a new sweeping piece of legislation called the Artificial Intelligence Act. This week Paul McCartney told the BBC that he's employing AI to help create what he's describing as the final Beatles record. In Paris, the famed Notre Dame Cathedral roof is being rebuilt with the help of AI through modelling software pioneered by Autodesk. And today on the podcast, European Commissioner Thierry Breton, who's in charge of the internal market, will explain the goal of this artificial intelligence act.
