The Stone Lined Chambers of the Mortuary Monument
None of those 14 individuals, none of those bones remain. The remains that were excavated from that original barrow with the 14 individuals in the timber and stone funeral monument, they have been preserved. But this later monument, the one that you can actually come into, these stone lined chambers, we don't know who was in here. It's a good mystery though, isn't it? As we go through our journey. I love sites like this because they are, you know, basically anything where you can crawl into a 5500 year old team and wonder about what it was that people were up to.
