The boomy slumpy nature of capitalism, what Shumpeter identified as its creative destruction dynamic, it seems to me to be hardwired into it. It's the DNA of capitalism. What we've done through basically central bank action and through the shift in the passives is to basically shatter that. And also the rise of these monopolies that basically buy up competition and eliminate volatility through those mechanisms are also important,. emerging technological issues, which we haven't really talked about, such as AI, et cetera, and the optimization of big data.
