A lot of the children with autism their family find that they're not really getting invited on play dates and I usually tell the parents start with very short play dates because sometimes it seems like a lot of work but this is true to other families. If you know there's a child with autism with autism in your child's class and fight them over even if it's like a drive-em-home a 15-minute play date 20 minute go get an ice cream whatever invite them over or if you feel like you need some support invite the family over and just really include themI think that's really helpful all along so they don't feel isolated It's also important to support the families they report
