The Evolution of Command Line Interfaces

The command line was a dominant form of communication with interfaces and human-computer interaction from the 1960s to the 1980s. The real takeaway from that is that the command line interfaces haven't gone away. They're there. People still use them all the time. It's just that it was such original sort of command line interfaces were required level of expertise, level of training, degrees, et cetera.
