Roxanne Jones: If you ever end up writing the sequel several more short sentences on writing, I'll be focused on that topic. rhythm is one of those things that it's embedded in language. A lot of people don't know how to think about rhythm at all and my suggestion is first of all, read a couple of paragraphs aloud just so you can start hearing it. All of these things have to do with essentially re-wakening a sense that I think we all possess but have allowed to become kind of latent or why.

In Episode #18, we explore becoming a better writer. We’re joined by Verlyn Klinkenborg, author and Yale professor. We cover learning from farm life and work, finding rhythm in writing, and debunking writing cliches.
