The Aura in WICCA
The Empress is typically depicted as seated with a crown of twelve, six pointed stars. Sometimes she has wings and stands on the moon. She wields a scepter and a shield upon which is a dove representing both male and female forces. The aura or breeze is another part of the psychic anatomy. Buckland refers to the aura as an electromagnetic energy, which emanates from the body. But as we'll find out towards the end of our episode, this can't really be the case. Or at least, it can't be the case and have the historic belief surrounding the aura be accurate.
