The jury hasn't said that that's what happened, as you indicate. It's not totally clear to me, at least what they mean by finding that plausible. But with all of these Trump cases, it does just feel as if the outcome is so over-determined,. The judge's mind was made up. Every piece of evidence that could have hurt him was going to be admitted and every pieces of evidence that would have exonerated him was denied. This is a penalty on Trump, for being Trump.
