Is There a Human Side to Infrastructure?
I was moved by a story that you told in one of the talks I watched about Reckel Nelson, a woman in Atlantic, Georgia. She let he lets go runs into the middle of the intersection and gets hit by a drunk driver and dies. And so what should be a journey of a few meters ends up becoming half a mile. So I tried to show in this story, just as a way to give the punch on the beginning, it shows really the human toll and price that happens with decisions and biases that happen in infrastructure.
