You're going to see red and blue states take on a whole range of issues, some of which they've already grappled with. We'll see them take on voting rights, abortion again, gay rights, education and taxation. Of course, there will be others as well. There are 39 states in which a single political party controls all three branches of government - known as trifecta states.
