I'm Indifferent to Anything but the Will of God
In the area of discernment, indifference is actually an incredibly positive term. It means that i'm indifferent to anything but the will of god. And in fact, it's not something that we can accomplish on our own as human beings. So a indifference is something we pray for. And thenofte, we have to wait. You have to be honest with god and say, you know what? I really want that new job. or that raise. The first move is the hardest and the most challenging. But there are prayers of indifference in scripture that we can witness and learn from. Jesus prayer in the garden of gesemane is a prayer of indifference.
