There's a false sense that skeletal muscle and strength training is generally associated with either wanting to look better for aesthetics or sport performance. Having less muscle mass than men in general means that you're starting from a lower spot. The ability to predict who's going to live longer is going to be almost highest with less muscle strength. If you don't have sufficient muscle mass or you're weak, you're going to be target number one.
