In some species, in some few, but diverse species, individuals other than parents help to raise offspring. And this is something of an evolutionary conundrum, because why would i help raise some, no, some individual? That's not my progeny that i have no genetic, in the sense, self interest in. So humans are, without doubt, co operative breeders. But it's the combination. It's not that we a that we take a long time to mature. Moms could handle having a coupleof children over the course of their life history. The fact that she has them really quickly,. and the fact that we have what are called, sometimes stacked ths.
