Self Helpe Type Books - Is That a Bad Idea?
The society of authors published a report warning about some of those paid for publishing services that have sprung up. They were often charging very much more than the kind of figures adam is saying. But the services weren't as good, and you couldn't choose who was your doing your editing, cover design, proof reading, tera. These books were not coming into bookshops. And in fact, people we found, an average, paid around two thousand pounds, and the amount they sold was 67 books, or 67 pounds worth of money. So it is going to cost you.
