Is There a Eucharist?
There's not much controversy about the Eucharist real presence in the first centuries of the church. But it does become a source of questioning later on. There seemed to be two opposing truths being proposed, Christ versus what looks and tastes like red and wine. And the wonderings became a significant challenge in the 9th century.
