How Did She Surmount That Barrier?
She got one of the top marks in the whole of the country for the general school certificate. But chemistry wasn't her strongest subject, it was she persisted. And i think it pro y had something to do with the fact that the chemistry teacher at the school was a woman - very unusual. So how did she get through that barrier? She and a friend norow did she get and both wanted to do it. They just said, they just put their feet down and said, but we want to do chemistry. And they were eventually allowed to.
