The Probability of Doom in AI Systems

Katja: I think an important thing to note with many of the things in these arguments is that they could actually be changed by us doing different things. If we put more effort into figuring out what's going on inside AI systems, that would actually change how likely is it that we can't make AI systems do the things we want. Katja does not have formal office hours, but she has said that after four, she will be up on the terrace and ask questions about her work or just talk about AI probabilities.
