Is Your Identity Your Identity?

We don't attach our identity to our beliefs, right? Like, if you have a tribal identity, example, as a as belonging to a political party. To actually look at that party and go, wait, i don't think i agree with this, it challenges your identity. Your identity is your ego structure, your separate self structure. It is literally like a part of you as dying. And so it's painful. So of course, we want to push that way. Whereis the place that actually allows for open mindedness and the flexibility of thought?"
