The Importance of Understanding Self Esteem as a State

Self esteem shows a strong trade component across many years or even decades there are studies that were conducted by in the labs of Jamie Wagner for example and Brent Donnellan one in my lab. All of these have I think show converging evidence that there is a considerable proportion of the differences between persons that is quite stable some of it is completely stable but more generally said it is really relatively stable across many years.
