There is a speed component, but you could also make the argument that when you're running in a remote environment, you get a lot more juice. If you're running on Azure, the disk IO is going to be worse than your laptop. I mean, there's tradeoffs. Basically, as a developer, I want optionality of being disconnected or working on a remote environment. But again, I think I'm probably the minority at this point of wanting to do everything on my laptop. What do you guys think?
