Mary is the first of Jesus' disciples in mortality. In Hebrew, Gabriel means a mighty man of God. Joseph Smith said that Gabriel is another name for Noah. This isn't just something that the women should be thinking about because this story is outlying the experience of Mary. It also gives us some really, really interesting clues of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
