What's Good for Facebook Is Good for Humanity?

Facebook says it's changing things, but the change is never significant enough. They're still not designing these platforms in ways that could be optimizing for other things. You can optimize civil conversation by exposing people to different perspectives. This is something that political science research shows actually would work. But there's no effort to do that. There are like a hundred ideas like this. I once sarcastically said they need philosophies. A majors working for them are philosophers. And it wasn't like high fluetnt philosophy. It's just people whoave studied political science and what makes good dialogue and uniation implementing the structures of these platforms.
