What Is High Gear Push Off?

High gear push off is getting two toes one and two in the foot in that rigid position. A low gear push off would be if you're watching someone walk and you were behind them, it would look like they're almost going to sprained their ankle. The first meditarsal is twice as wide and four times as strong as the lesser meditarsis. If I'm pushing off laterally, that's where those compressive fifth metatarsal stress fractures can occur. So yeah, I think all of those things need to be addressed so that we can get to high gear push off.
