Investing in a Venture Firm
Each fund is a separate pulic capital. Pically, you raise it every few years. The compensation that the v cs, the firm gets is a combination of fees and management fees and carry carried interest. Ah, so, ok, within each fund, then there's a portfolio of investments that the fund makes,. anywhere from, you know, ten ish at the very, very low end, up to some funds have a hundred companies in them.
