The Tragedy of the Osage Hills

There have been so many adaptations of the story over the years. I recently found out that in 1926 there was a silent film called The Tragedy of the Osage Hills which was directed by a Native American filmmaker in Oklahoma. It didn't get a big release and it is now lost to the ages. But it seems like a fascinating subject for discovery or even talking about it.
