The role of a product manager is to put everyone at the same table, make sure people are aligned. Good PMs should be good communicators, not necessarily good talkers, but just understanding how to align different ideas and different visions. And then if the parts keep moving, it's very difficult to sustain that path. Sometimes there will be misalignments... sometimes I would say, here's the right solution for this problem. You've handed over me, and this is another important pointI think the best hand you have in your job is being prescriptive about solving problems.
