The embroidery was, I like to think of it as a visual language, one that women shared and spoke among each other. Every single individual villages even had their own motifs and styles and fabrics. So there's enormous variety and richness across quite a small country. And Aya, how big a part in your own life was embroidery? Because you were born until what, the 90s or something? 80s, yeah.
