i would lean towards managed data bases, like planet scale. It's very competitive with the highly scaled. A w s is the cheapest, i want to say, but it's also the most complex. When you have a distributed data base all across the world, so that your customers in japan can have the same response time as your customers in canada,. That gets extraordinarily comp ated. The other really cool thing about planet scale, and i want to do a whole episode on this, because it's a damn cool service.
