The Importance of Saving and Investing in the Economy

There's nothing in the laws of accounting or economics that prevent every single household from living below what it means to live. If a corporation needs money, it can either issue equity or debt. And I'm saying, yeah, there's certain characteristics by which, oh, they're kind of comparable. But on other levels of analysis, they're not. That's why there's a difference. In many respects, whether a corporation raises the money by issuing more debt or more equity is different from company to company. They're obviously different things, different attributes, characteristics.
