The Importance of Katie Couric on American Idol

I think the thing with her is she was always going to fade eventually. She just faded faster than expected, at least in terms of chart relevance. But I will say like there is something very distinct about her style on that show and it dears me to Katy Perry even more so than her music ever has watching her be a judge on that show. Yeah, I think she's particularly valuable during the auditions where when someone is bizarre or gives a, you know, a bad audition or something,.She can sort of give you those like cartoon like scared eyes or whatever. And you're and she is funny in that context, you know.
