The Vasectame Stew
Drive time radio host would broadcast excerpts of a perpetually running game known as the stew. They'd play recapse of arguments between old timers and newcomers, fighting over who would get to have their vesectome first. These broadcasts would get piped into each and every synonon residence across the country. It all had the feel of communist style propaganda. But what you don't hear on the wire was the extreme pressure and intimidation exerted over those who resisted. We seem to be terrified as the people has never been terrified by anything that is strange.
