I worry a lot about the idea that we're missing the thread of our own now, i wouldn't use trumpes example. The hardest thing to do in journalism is to maintain your own sense of what is important. I've been an editor in chief at avax. I ran wankblog at the washington post. I know this world very well. Its so difficult to maintain a real discipline and not just be swept along by ideation. It reminds me a lot of cora, who i think may be feeling a little smug in this conversation.
