Jehoshaphat's Reign
Jehoshaphat, his son, reigned in his stead and strengthened himself against Israel. The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the earlier ways of his father. He sent princes Benhayil, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nithonel, and Makiah to teach in the cities of Judah. And they made a great fire in his honor. Some of the Philistines brought Jehoshophat presents and silver for tribute. Arabs also brought him 7,700 rams and 7,700 he-goats.
